Welcome to
Dance Theatre of Pennsylvania. We bring the highest caliber ballet to
audiences in the northern suburbs of Philadelphia. Started in 1978 by
artistic director Marilyn Budzynski, formerly of the Pennsylvania
Ballet, Dance Theatre stages two full-length ballets a year, including
our signature production of “The Nutcracker.” With sell-out shows for
several years running, our show has become a holiday classic for many
families. Our repertoire also includes such classic story ballets as
“Cinderella,” “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” and “Coppelia.”
This year, we move to a new venue: Central Bucks High School South
in Warrington, Bucks County, where we performed “Sleeping Beauty” in
the spring of 2009.
As a non-profit dance company, we ask for your support at our
fundraisers: two Nutcracker Teas this fall, including one at the
James-Lorah House on Nov. 8 in Doylestown, and our Golf Outing at
Talamore Country Club in Ambler. See our events section for more

Auditions for our company and the Nutcracker are coming up on Sept.
12 and 13. Our affiliated dance school is Budzynski Studios, voted “One
of the Best of Bucks 2007.”
